Little Lion Sound has been pumping out Reggae, Dancehall & Afrobeats since their conception in Geneva, Switzerland in 2004, and their latest offering with Loyal Flames on Evidence Music is another smash, waiting to rattle the bass-bins of soundsystems across the globe.
Catchy, bassy & full of good vibes, there's only one way to play this. LOUD. An absolute anthem for a sunny day. If it was released 5 days earlier, you best believe you would've heard this across every soundsystem and portable speaker, in every park across the UK as we celebrated 4/20. It's got the same ear-worm energy as the likes of Collie Buddz & TopCat.

I first came across Little Lion Sound after their viral 'The Next Episode' dubplate with Queen Omega exploded on social media. You couldn't scroll for more than a few minutes without hearing it, and for good reason. I must've spent hours delving into the vast back-catalogue.
Dubplates are a staple in the scene and the rate at which these guys are pumping them out is quite frankly ridiculous. Often you'll hear 3 or 4 verions of the same instrumental, each just as good, if not better, than the last. He has championed Reggae and Soundsystem culture from his very start, organising street parties in his hometown in 2006, and quickly gaining notoriety by winning soundclashes across Europe, and as far afield as Australia. This developed into them opening their studio in 2010, which began to become a melting pot in Switzerland for up and coming talent, as well as attacting legends such as Capleton, Sizzla & Shaggy.

In 2013, alongside fellow Swiss natives Derrick Sound, Evidence Music was born, securing releases from Brother Culture, Sizzla, Cali P and Capleton within their first year of operation. The Queen Omega dubplate really pushed them into the mainstream, with that tune alone amassing over 8.5m plays on Spotify, and it doesn't look like they're showing any signs of slowing down. From Geneva to the World. Little Lion Sound are here to stay.
