So, about me... In short, I'm Tom, and I love music. I've started this blog as a passion project really, somewhere that I can indulge all my music related thoughts and get them out of my head and onto paper, or screen.

 

I'm not a writer by any stretch of the imagination, but you can't get better at something if you don't try. So this is me trying. But what I am, is a lover of all things music. It pretty much consumes every waking moment I have. I've listened to music for as long as I can remember, which explains the mild tinnitus, and I've been playing and making music on and off since around the age of 12. I've had a few releases and radio plays across the UK & Europe, namely BBC Introducing East Midlands. Labels including AAA Records, Drope & Karunga Muusika, along with my own self released bits.

 

I've been producing electronic music from the age of about 14, after getting let loose on Cubase 4 (I think) in secondary school music classes. And along the way I've been lucky enough to meet and support some incredible artists such as DJ EZ, Lee Walker, Adam Shelton & PAWSA to name a few. Although I have a deep rooted connection with electronic music, my love for music started by listening to bands and singer/songwriters before being introduced to it, so my taste is incredibly varied.

 

Hopefully this will be a place for me to share some of my favourite tracks, albums and artists across loads of genres so that you can enjoy them as much as I do. I don't want it to be exclusively electronic music because there's so much great stuff out there that isn't that, but once we get going there'll be some reviews, some Top 5's & some general ramblings for you to enjoy. In the future I hope to be able to interview artists & DJs from Nottingham and beyond, bringing you guest mixes and maybe even some radio shows if it all goes well. But I won't get ahead of myself, have a read and decide for yourself. Thanks for coming, and thanks for reading!
