Following a period of illness and recovery, Nottingham heavyweight Window Kid is back with a bang on his new track - 'Rambling Bars' with Toddla T on the buttons.

In 2024 Greg was taken ill with necrotic pancreatitis which led to a lengthy stay in hospital, and since then he has had to make some substantial lifestyle changes. As a legendary figure in the Nottingham scene, I'm so glad to see him back thriving and looking better than ever.
Late 2024 saw him release his track 'Lost Myself' with chart topper Nathan Dawe, detailing the emotional journey he had been on over those turbulent months, battling with his forced hand of sobriety and how this could affect his life and career going forward.
After this, Charlie Sloth gave him the long overdue call up to feature on his acclaimed 'Fire in the Booth' show, which saw him return to his signature flow, lacing a Nas flip entitled 'Manc State of Mind' by Manchester Rapper & Producer Blizzard, and 'Rambling Bars' brings that same infectious energy.
Packed with his token humour and punchline after punchline, coupled with a rawkus bassline from Toddla T, it'll have you laughing and screw-facing in equal measure. This is, in my opinion, Window's best work to date and I've had it on repeat all day. Go and have a butchers on all the usual spots.
His career is going from strength to strength following his illness, looking at him now you wouldn't think that less than a year ago he was given only a 20% chance of survival. His presence on social media isn't to be missed either, featuring some famous faces along the way including Robbie Williams, who recently posted a video of himself spitting bars for an open verse challenge on Instagram, which has since been taken down. Could we be seeing a Window Kid X Robbie Williams collab in the future? God I hope so. All the best, John.
