Released: 4th April 2025

At the beginning of 2023 it was teased on TikTok that the HAIM sister's were back in the studio working on album number 4, and since then the only thing we've had to listen to, other than the other 3 amazing albums, is their single 'Home' which was featured in the Barbie movie. That is, until now.
I completely missed the release of the first single from the new album - 'Relationships' - which you should also check out, but the newest single definitely leaves me excited for what's to come.
Co-produced by Danielle, alongside longtime collaborator Rostam Batmanglij (of Vampire Weekend), she remarked on social media that she wrote the song after suffering a panic attack the night the band returned home from their last tour, which is definitely reflected in the lyrics. You can really feel that this is a way in which Danielle is taking back control following the hectic schedule of touring.
'You think you're gonna die, but you're not gonna die'
Anyone who's ever had a panic attack knows that feeling!
The track itself has a slower more introspective sound as a result of its contents, but without losing that signature HAIM sound. Whereas 'Relationships' really feels like a single that is harking back to their first album, 'Days Are Gone'. SO, so good.
We don't have anything official to tell us when the new album will arrive, but these two singles alone have already amassed over 12 million streams on Spotify, which shows their fanbase is eagerly awaiting the announcement!
As it stands they only have 5 live dates listed in 2025, including Primavera Sound in Barcelona, and most recently announced, Radio 1's Big Weekend!
